My Personal Childhood Web

The person who nurtured and cared about me when I was a child is my mother, Sandra Hardy (shown in the photo).  I have the best mother in the world.  She is my best friend.  I can talk to her about anything that may be affecting my life.  I visit and talk to my mother every day.  We enjoy going shopping, out to eat, watching movies, going to the hair salon and going to church together.  My mother has been very supportive of me throughout my life; through the good and bad times.  My mother raised me as a single parent.  She worked very hard and made many sacrifices to give me the best that she could.  She always made time for me after she would come home from work.  She showed lots of love towards me by giving me hugs, reading me bedtime stories, attending my extracurricular activities and telling me how proud she was of me.  There has never been a time that she wasn't there for me.
She continues to impact my life today by supporting and encouraging my personal goals of obtaining my Masters in Early Childhood and giving me her unconditional love.  She always remind me that "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

  1. I can tell you ladies really know how to have a good time together. Having a close relationship with your mother I am sure has helped you become the woman you are today. Mothers play such an influential part of our lives. It is apparent that you have received your strength and wisdom from your mother.

  2. Tonya,

It seems as though your mother did a wonderful job of making sure that she supported you in all areas. Though my mother was a single mom, she did depend on a few more of my family members to help fulfill those needs that she could not attend to at all times. I know the bond between a mother and daughter is very strong and becomes even stronger when it is just the two of you.

Like you rmother, my gradnmother continues to impact my life and is always there for me whenever I need her. Looks like your mother did a great job raising you. Through your motivation and accomplishments, we can see that all of ther hard work has paid off.
